I remember the day, March 18th, for a lot of reasons. The first being, the last time I stepped into a crowded bus, clinging onto dear life in the hope that I won’t fall off or without covering my mouth with a mask. I also remember it for another reason, I was drained and exhausted. The district level sports competitions were around the corner. I had to get adjusted to the college team, as I was a new recruit. I was almost in tears when I reached home. The way back home from college isn’t an easy one, mind you, college is 25 kilometres away. It’s a long journey for me. Take the bus, switch to the Metro Rail and then take another bus and walk for another kilometre to finally reach home.

Things drastically changed after this. A three-week lock down came to effect. This was an immediate relief. At least , I could rest and relax. I wanted a short break

Here we are, many months hence, the future looking very bleak, all as clueless as ever. The situation even came to be called a pandemic. This wasn’t what I wished for. Too much is too bad right ?

But nonetheless, I am trying to make best use of this time, ensuring that I remain healthy mentally and physically. I wouldn’t deny, I have learnt a lot and evolved as a better person. I have seen the change and I am proud of it.

So how has your experience been?
