The descent was rapid, she felt like the nose of the valley was right under her feet
Tried looking above, in her line of vision, not a peak
Was visible; anxiety and fear aggravated
This was not what she wanted,
Her balloon was suddenly low on fuel,
It was about time she bid goodbye, thinking how it would be in hell
Life on Earth was not easy,
She decided to shut her eyes, and chant prayers; felt very dizzy
This wasn’t supposed to be the end, for she had miles to go and mountains to climb
That’s when it changed, a miracle of a lifetime,
A jet flying at a higher altitude spotted her; the pilot immediately steered towards her,
The events that followed were a blur,
The rescue line dropped; she couldn’t tell if this was true,
For, she had given up hope; fear and anxiety renewed
She clung to the rescue line with all her might,
Her heart was racing; head in a state of shock and fright,
They helped her to the top, let her free herself from the panic trance,
She took a few minutes to process everything, she was gifted another chance!
